Henry Jennings wrote, “If God's today be too soon for thy repentance, thy tomorrow may be too late for His acceptance.”

APPLICATION

Although God's mercy is new every day, there is no promise it will be offered tomorrow. Salvation is only ever offered on one day and that's today! 

"For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2).
